Wanted, Classic Ducati !!
always next Winter is comming, with the compleetion of the GTS I'm looking for a new project, if you are one of these " I always wanted to rebuild the bike, but never had the time" let me know, a good home is waiting.
900 GTS
16/05/10, sorry, blog was not maintained for some time, GTS was finally completed, overall I'm pleased, the engine is not that vivid as the 900 desmo but the torque is quite impressive perfect for a tourer. Things still to be done, head lamp is not original I used a new classic H4, seat cover is a bit scruffy but will do the job.

New restoration is on it's way a 1979 900 GTS, the bike is from the UK. I will start a picture diary to show you the progress.
01/03/09 the engine had some form of live !!
05/04/09 Engine is out but I had to cut the down pipes, bloody ring nuts !! Frame and other black parts are in the shop for coating . Found some GTS parts recently, seat with a good base migth a new cover, also a pair of Lafranconis.
11/04/09 working on the Brembos, Piston stuck !!
preparing the parts for the paintshop, the name of the colour is " Fiat red ", great !!
18/07/09, sorry for not posting, but no real progress on the GTS, but this week I started on the Frame, fork is in and the wheels will in soon.

19/07/09,progress, wheels are in, just found out the rear tyre has the wrong direction, hmm.
24/01/10, engine needed major fix, new pistons as the cylinder had corrosion, same time new bearings, new clutch and polishing.
Las Vegas Auction
I visited the 2009 CES show in Las Vegas and by chance at the same time was the Vintage Motorcycle Auction, Great !! You can see the result on "Ducatis".
Spend some time to have a look around, the bike condition are very good, realy enjoyed.
I have to say some prices are quite high, a 175 Sport for 12.000 US$ !!
